Hello, I’m Johnathan Scane, a Manchester-based illustrator and community practitioner interested in how sites and social activities interrelate. I combine site visits and research to develop retrospective, layered narratives, demonstrating a growing commitment to applying a participatory process that gives voice to the community. My work combines freehand drawing, assemblage, and text, utilising both traditional and digital media.
